These are completely unnecessary steps. Remember everything has to get fixed and that's why you don't need to change your handkerchief. I found when I first got started with acrylic paint, that the coating left me with extremely hot paint so I would have to be extra careful. Luckily I found many online and tried replacing the coating with something more flexible and stable.
