To make your acrylic sash, place small cubes of acrylic in an airtight, non-flammable container. Using tongs, pick each cube apart thoroughly, placing all of the cubes between them and making sure they are lined with plastic wrap or rubber wrap.

When plastic wrapping is used, gently touch each of the cube pieces with a small amount of heat. If possible, cut the pieces down into thin strips so the pieces can be separated.
