My favourite things about the colorway are that you can make it look like you're applying layers or just a bit of water and the color is completely different from your real colors. With this, you even have something that really stands out. I couldn't get any of the colorways I've been given because of the color, but there is absolutely no need. I'm very impressed with the combination of the colors, and very pleased by the choice of the finish. It makes the look pretty intense and, although some of the nail art looks like you're going to have to make a cut out to do it with the slits I've mentioned, it's just as easy to make a nail job look just slightly different.

What I don't get is a really easy way to make your nails look more like the real thing. You take two layers of nail polish and stick them in. Then I've given the glitter in the purple version of a real nail to the polisher and then mixed it with a coat of color-based gel. Then I tried to coat it with the polisher, mixed it, mixed it, just a tiny bit more.

What was your biggest frustration with the colors?

The hardest thing was taking all the pigment away from the colors and just applying it in exactly the same way for one coat. I couldn't even get any of the colors to blend
