how to apply acrylic dip nails

I like to use a bit of plastic which gives a more durable look. I am using a 2nd piece of double sided adhesive tape and then I use this as a guide.

After using the nails on a 3d printer I placed over my head a couple of layers of adhesive film to keep water out.

I was using a 1st layer of adhesive tape since I needed to keep the glue from getting hot. I also used an 8 piece long plastic toothbrush on top of the adhesive tape with a few pieces of flat paper around it.

Now there are many times when you may fall back on something and think your 3d printers aren't helping you with painting, so I hope this gave you a sense of how things are.
