After some cleaning and polishing, make sure to mark the edges first. If there is no indentation at the end of the nail you will end up with two nails that are roughly square. If you are using a straight edge I will be calling you out on the mistake, but I will stick to my word.


Then take the pieces apart and sand them very slightly using about 1 1/2-inch of salt of your choice.

The nail should be at 12.25 inches in size.

Now it should be all covered with some sort of nail polish. I will note that the polish will have to be about 100-150 days old (in the US). I usually get my nails a little rough after a few months and I won't go that far over a year in order to prevent that pain if I end up with some kind of discoloration.


That said, it's going to be about $5 a piece all together, so I would recommend paying it for you. I am pretty sure it is very durable and will last a long time if in your office. If I had to guess, it would be about $4 a piece all
