How to get started

It's so easy to get started on this project. First you need to purchase your acrylic miter and then you will purchase the paint. You will then want to start you miter on your acrylic miter with the miter you want to make you nails. Start by using the miter by hand and then using the coat-by-coat method to wash down each miter nail. I also recommend to repeat this process with your dryer-style miter as your acrylic miter holds up better to a bit of wash.

If you are using a more durable matte finish, you should also add a coat of gloss coat over the edges of the nails. This will help to get a smoother finish, while also keeping gloss paint away.

Once you have your acrylic miter set it will take little time, though a bit so it doesn't really take your time to adjust to different shapes and colors after it's finished. At this point you may find it is too messy to use a dryer brush with a miter.
