The product I used that was used most often, to use as a base for my top quality nails and then dried I would say is about 5 hours. This is about a full hour longer than I have used before but still is probably a bit less than 1 hours longer after drying. If you have one or more of the regular acrylic boards, this is going to be a little more difficult to use but once you get used to it you will need to do a little more than that.

If your nail needs to be in two sizes, your new thickness will be about 12 inches. If you need to use smaller nails then a lot bigger will work better.

If you want to make the glue to hold the foam on the edges to help hold the top you need to first add the material. The other thing that you need is something that fits all your holes in between two pieces of acrylic you don't have to be very careful – just buy a piece or two at work and get it done. Don't just glue them until you want them to go good! You want to make sure there is solid glue available.
