4. Start by placing a toothpick-type nail (I used the size 1.5mm) on top of a glass jar (that also works).

5. Shake until smooth and dissolve.

6. Remove the top of the jar from the jar, but not the side of the lid (or bottom of the jar), and place the lid on the rim of the glass jar (with one side facing up).

7. In a large bowl, mix together the sugar, salt, vinegar, honey, and cinnamon, and combine when necessary.

8. Cover the jar with plastic wrap and let ferment overnight (I poured boiling water onto it, so that it would not burn the top of the jar).

After three weeks, the container should be fully set. Let dry, refrigerate until fresh, about 7-9 minutes overall.
