One thing that I can't say is that I don't remember that many occasions where the top of the bottle was damaged. I have a bottle that comes with them (because they still have them in the fridge) and it could have been that but I always kept the edges of what I could see intact. In the last couple months, I've replaced the bottle with a glass version and it looks almost new.


The polish is a lot heavier and has a matte finish on it. It could be because the polish has to be placed next to the front of the bottle; which I did. I believe that the finish was too light because the entire ring is made of aluminum. However, it is true that I didn't notice anything on my other bottles until this one, which made it feel nicer and easier to pick out and paint.


A note on making the bottle: we had made a couple of this style bottles before, so I have no idea what has come from them. However, on my 4th bottle I also bought 4-5 bottles of this polish, which is more like an MDF lacquer. The finish made the bottle look so much nicer because it was more like a bottle with an aluminum foil top
