The base of this DIY mask is based on a cheap acrylic lip gloss with two layers of acrylic. There is no water used and it smells kind of like a cheap acrylic lip gloss.

Note: You don't need to wash the mask on each side for this one as the layer of acrylic helps to wash down the mask.

You need a clean, dry mask (see pics below).

I recommend using a water-based mask instead of a natural mask (you will need a plastic sponge so as not to scratch things you are applying the mask to). However, if you have oily skin and you do not have any natural makeup, my advice is to not apply any makeup while the mask is being applied. After it really is wiped down, use a wet sponge over it.

It takes 4 coats of applied acrylic in a glass liner over a glass of water, this will last about 12 hours.

I highly recommend using the DIY mask on the top of your mask so people will feel able to touch it.

You will need a long cable tie to secure it all over. If you want some extra padding before it goes under your face, then you could wrap and hang in your closet before working on it yourself.

Do it properly by using the glue to pull the mask over.

Do a clean, dry mask, as it will make your face feel moist/greasy.
