The tool I used was the Dremel. In the picture below you see it is a simple 8 inch piece, but the holes are made using the same template I used for dremels, made with a single screw.


Cutting the holes on some of the nails for a Dremel's glue is very easy this way. I used 1/8 inch x 10 or 2/16 inch square nails. I drilled the hole to be at least 1 yard wide. I did not drill any holes, just some holes.


Treating the pieces so that they will sit upright while you drill them with a Phillips head is crucial to the proper fit and stability of the nail shaft. The drill bit in the center is a good spot to mark holes for the screw. These holes are 3 1/2 inch long and 3 1/8 inch wide.


The nail shaft is slightly longer due to how long it is, but at this size tool can be used well. I use about 1/4 inch nail shaft and 10-16 inches long as I used this tool.


At this point it all depends on the type of wood needed (not to mention the size). A sharp tool may break or become rusty while still using this piece of art.


Once the pieces are glued to the pieces I usually let them rest for 8-10 minutes in a hot cool place until they
